The role of mine fan

Mining fans are tools used in the mining industry. Since the working environment in mines is dark and humid and very prone to explosions and other accidents, mines need fans to perform related work to ensure the safety of underground work.

Mine air refers to a mixture of fresh air from the ground and harmful gases and floating particles produced underground. Its main characteristics are:

1. The oxygen concentration decreases and the carbon dioxide concentration increases;

2. Mixed with various harmful gases, mainly toxic, harmful and explosive gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and biogas;

3. Mixed with coal dust and rock dust;

4. The temperature, humidity and pressure of the air change. Under normal circumstances, the temperature increases in winter and decreases in summer; the humidity increases and the relative humidity increases; in press-in ventilation mines, the pressure becomes larger; in pull-out ventilation mines, the pressure becomes smaller.

For the safety of the working environment, we use mining fans, which have the following three functions:
1. Send enough fresh air underground to provide the oxygen needed for underground breathing;

2. Discharge the air after diluting harmful gases and mineral dust to the ground to ensure underground air quality and limit the concentration of mineral dust within a safe range;

3. After fresh air is sent underground, it can adjust the climate conditions of underground tunnels and workplaces to meet the wind speed, temperature and humidity requirements specified underground.

Accidents such as explosions in mines are mostly caused by the presence of a large amount of harmful gases and related impurities in mines. Therefore, we must use mine fans to achieve underground ventilation and dust removal to ensure the safety of underground work and prevent accidents. .
